i just wanted my tree cut down.

i wanna feel guilty but mike edwards wont leave my mind, said his name three times he keeps me up all the time, i just want him to be mine. all i wanted was my tree cut down but he cut down my heart, piece by piece, word by word, it all ended in the same way with my heart shattered and my tree still standing. his beard is long like the list of things i wash i never told him, he wore that same lime green shirt the day he left, bring, loud, hard to forget. funny how he grinds stumps for a living, but couldn’t finish what he started with me… left the roots, left the mess. said he cleans out what d**d but im the one still rotting.
