Back in Oct 98 we met aboard Narrowboat Foxy ON THE Grand Union
Our fate was sealed as we talked together making a memory
that would scan the decades to this day along with the Mutineer badges as you signed on the dotted line with RSVP.

Over the years we bobbed in and out of each other’s lives Taking walks, breaking bread, sharing a tent or two in Wales and the lake district, Talking for hours building our enduring friendship The years rolled by with at times seas and oceans between us but our friendship continued. Each time we met with just picked up where we left off, solid together as we cruised life as friends

Then in 2013 we finally got together as a couple, something our friends and family knew before we did was destined to be, with a movie and dinner the future was set as I put a massive smile on your face.
We said the L word for the first time at your club your second home as felt so right, so good.

Our journey sped up and soon we were engaged as we planned our future together on the canals to cruise into the future as one as man and wife. Come 2017 our friends and family gathered to witness our vows "I, Audrey Elizabeth take you, Clive Edward Harvey, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, forsaking all others in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part , exchanging rings to represent our eternal love with yellow roses, and wonderful world playing.

Our journey has been a rocky one with boulders of ill health, lock downs, and oak trees taking their toll on us. The price we paid became a manmade mountain, that I fear we may not climb.
Please Do not let me climb the mountain alone, please hold my hand, wrap your arms around me and show me you love me in every way you can and want me and want us both to make it to the other side to cruise together as one on calmer waters
