Okanagan Dreams

Lisa and I flew to that Okanagan glow, Met Randy and Ruth where the vineyards grow. Sippin’ on wines, Ruth loved the whites best, Pinot Gree in her glass, she was feelin’ so blessed. Rollin’ through the valley, singin’ loud and free, Ruth and me beltin’ tunes, hearts wild as can be. Randy’s drivin’ steady, rhubarb on his mind, Motorhomes all around, man, that trip was fine. Oh, what a week, livin’ high, what a time, In Okanagan wine country, everything felt fine. Gourmet dinners sparkled with spectacular sunsets, Randy chasin’ rhubarb with that gleam in his eyes. Stopped for pizza one day, flavors hit just right, But Brie the waitress served with a scowl, not so polite. Emma the dog, she was stealin’ the show, Waggin’ and playin’ that one time, don’t you know. Walkin’ those trails, laughin’ in the sun, Every mile we traveled was a memory won. Last stop was Mike and Sam’s, their country home so sweet, Smoked brisket on the table, what a way to eat. We laughed and shared stories ‘til the stars burned bright, But flew back on that sad morning flight. From wine-soaked days to friends we hold dear, Okanagan’s magic’s still ringin’ clear. With Lisa, Ruth, and Randy by my side, That wine country ramble was one hell of a ride. Yeah, in Okanagan wine country, everything felt fine.
