You scan my face to board a train,
While strangers land with no last name.
They say it’s kindness, say it’s law.
But I see cracks they never saw.
The cameras blink, the data flows,
And still the border never knows
Who comes, who stays, who fades away—
While we’re the ones who have to pay.
Watched and forgotten,
Tracked but not heard.
We’re living in silence,
While truth is deferred.
They tighten the leash,
But loosen the gate—
Is this control,
Or just fear dressed as fate?
Burkas pass without a scan,
While I’m a number, not a man.
They say it’s hate to ask aloud,
But justice doesn’t fear the crowd.
They fund the boats, they blur the line,
And call it peace while we decline.
I’m not cruel, I’m not blind—
I just want answers they won’t find.
We’re not the enemy,
We’re not the threat.
But every click, every step
Is a government bet.
They watch us sleep,
They watch us speak—
But never ask what truth we seek.
Watched and forgotten,
Tracked but not heard.
We’re living in silence,
While truth is deferred.
They tighten the leash,
But loosen the gate—
Is this control,
Or just fear dressed as fate?
