Jack-o'-lanterns grin, their fire is b*****g low, While costumed kids in the shadows come and go. You've got a nervous feeling, a worry deep and dark, This night is built on tricks and a chilling, fearful spark. It's a Halloween fright, the spooks are all out! Screams and shivers echo, there's no room for doubt! Witches on brooms cut the sky, high and fast, The midnight magic is here, finally cast! From the haunted house, the haunts crawl out in droves, Under the gaze of the moon where the werewolf roves! The air is thick with a green, smoky steam, The witches brew glowing green with smoke and eyeballs floating like a bad dream. In the shadows, an eight-legged terror drops down, A fat, fuzzy spider is watching the town. Through the woods, you can hear an ominous sound, From the scary trees that talks and moves all around. A sleek black cat creeps around the corner wall, While a flock of black bats answers the moon's call. Then the howl starts, long and bone-chillingly loud, The vampire and the shimmering ghosts look proud. It’s the signal for the late night runs to begin, A race against the dawn, to see who can win! Every shadow you see, makes your fears come alive, Every moment is a battle to simply survive.
