Now she has you

Now She Has You”
I said the words that cracked the glass,
Let go too soon, watched moments pass.
You were the best I couldn’t keep,
Now every night, I lose more sleep.
She holds the hand I used to know,
She walks with you where I won’t go.
I played it cool, I played it wrong—
Now she’s your right, and I’m your gone.
Now she has you, and I lost me,
Drowned in the could-have, used-to-be.
She gets the laughs, the midnight calls,
I get the guilt, the rise, the fall.
You looked at me like I was home—
I made you feel too much alone.
I pushed, I broke, I built a wall,
Then cursed the echo of it all.
She didn’t steal, I gave you up—
Dropped the flame and blamed the cup.
Now she glows where I burned out,
And you moved on, without a doubt.
Now she has you, and I have pain,
I traded sunshine for the rain.
If sorry changed the hands of time,
You’d still be yours—and still be mine.
I watch from far, I say I’m fine,
But every truth now tastes like wine—
Sweet and sharp and soaked in ache,
From all the chances I didn’t take.
