the moonlight journey by faizal khan

*In a meadow where the moonlight glows, Where silver rivers softly rose, A traveler walked with dusty shoes, Chasing echoes of forgotten news. The stars leaned low to watch him roam, As if the sky became his home. He hummed a tune the night could hear, A rhyme that chased away all fear. “Wander on,” the fireflies sang, Their tiny wings like crystal rang. “Follow dreams that drift and gleam, Trust the whisper of the stream.” Through shadowed woods he slowly stepped, Past ancient trees where secrets slept. Owls blinked twice with amber eyes, Guardians of the midnight skies. He crossed a path where hopes belong, A bridge of light, both thin and strong. The wind beside him twirled and spun, A playful friend till rising sun. He reached a hill of quiet stone, A place where thoughts are never alone. There he laid his burdens down, Like falling petals from a crown. “Every heart,” he said aloud, “Must rise again, no matter how bowed. Each night may steal the warmth of day, But dawn will chase the dark away.” So he stood tall, renewed in soul, Refreshed by night’s unspoken role. And as the morning sky turned blue, He found his strength, he found his view. A gentle breeze, a brighter start, A world rebuilt within his heart. And onward down the path he strode, A softened spirit, a lighter load.**
