Help

Please help me! Twelve years have passed since that day, and I still hear her cries. What started as a few days at the beach with my friend ended with a long drive home alone. My best friend and I traveled once a year to enjoy the sun, sand, and ocean. We had been lying out, listening to the radio, laughing, and soaking up the sun. She decided to cool off in the water, and off she went. I watched as she drifted on out while enjoying the salty water. I called to her to come back toward the beach a little, but she said I'm fine. So I got comfortable and maybe thirty minutes passed and I heard her cry out for help. The lifeguard took off in the water toward her with me not far behind. A wave had thrown her off and she couldn't h**g on. The ocean was pulling her under and further out until there were no cries, just the crashing of the waves. The lifeguard reached her but it was too late. My friend lost her life that day. Twelve years after that July day, I finally decided it was time to go and release the hurt that day had left. I sat and watched the waves crashing on the beach. People were laughing and enjoying this beautiful body of water only God could create. I was there for a reason and it was in the water. So off I went to enjoy what my friend had loved so much. Walking into the water, then onto my float, I went, feeling the gentle waves underneath me. I drifted off to sleep. When I awoke, the waves were crashing and no one was on the beach. Then the wave turned me over into the water I pulled myself up trying to get on my float and cried for help but no one heard my cry. Then a Hand reached down for me as I cried Lord please help me. Moments later I was on my float next to the beach. I stood amazed at what just happened. Then, a sweet peace came over me, and a Gentle Voice whispere,d "This is not where your journey ends. Follow Me!" That day is a mystery to people when I tell it, but He was in control of her life that day, and He's still in control of my life today!
