October flowers fall to earth
Ancient trees are bleeding,
Time is frail, as youth grows old
Fading into November morning.
Cold winds blow winter's herald
First snow falls as angels cry,
A dove circles in the cold night
With it's heart lonely like mine.
As the autumn sky is weeping
My soul joins it in crying,
Where the dove flies in my heart
You'll see the angel dying… (within)
Black roses fall to lay on earth
Like a babe to mother's breast,
Like this man who has lost his hope
Who has seen love sent to rest.
October leaves fall in the night
Amidst the angels' tears of snow
I, like the dove, cry out for death
To release me from this sorrow.
As the Autumn sky is weeping
My soul joins it in crying,
Where the dove flies in my heart
You'll see the angel dying.
And the angels weep, and not for me
But for the earth's loss of light and bliss.
And they will grant me the end of pain
Sending Death with her gentle kiss
