Waxy Brown Tribute - Warrior of the Green

[Intro] [Verse 1] From the heart of Missouri, a soldier was born, Navy stripes on his chest, through the storms he’d sworn. Waxy Brown—name etched in the f***t, Green leaves as his armor, wrongs made right. City Council dreams, but they clipped his wings, “Cannabis criminal”—they feared what freedom brings. He stood tall in the fire, never backed down, A vet with a mission, turning tides in his town. [Chorus] Light it up for the warrior, let his name flow, Through the smoke, through the struggle, he's forever our Hero Waxy Brown, your flame won’t fade away, We’ll sing your anthem, marching loud, no delay. [Verse 2] Polarizing? Yeah, but he spoke what was true, A rebel with a cause, breaking chains in the pews. From dispensaries to protests, he planted the seeds, “Justice for the people” was the creed that he’d lead. They called him a outlaw, he called it a right, A patriot blazing through the darkest of nights. [Chorus] Light it up for the warrior, let his name flow, Through the smoke, through the struggle, he’s forever our hero. Waxy Brown, your flame won’t fade away, We’ll sing your anthem, marching loud, no delay. [Bridge] Now the soil holds stories, but his roots still grow, In every bud blooming, his spirit’s aglow. They tried to erase him, but legends remain, In the f***t for the plant, we’ll repeat his name. [Verse 3] The community’s heartbeat, your voice in the crowd, Your battles our compass when the system gets loud. From veterans to patients, you bridged every gap, A soldier of peace—now we roll for your lap. [Outro]
